APEX is the native governance and utility token of ApeX Omni Protocol, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange built on Arbitrum Layer 2. Launched in 2022, APEX plays a central role in the protocol's ecosystem, powering governance, fee discounts, staking rewards, and liquidity incentives.
With a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens, APEX features a deflationary tokenomics model where 50-90% of protocol revenue is used for token buybacks. Currently, only 12.57% of tokens are in circulation (125.67 million APEX), with the remainder allocated to community incentives (77%) and team/investors (23%).
The APEX Staking 3.0 program allows holders to stake tokens for 3-24 months to earn rewards in esAPEX and receive veAPEX for governance voting rights. The protocol's Omni Layer aggregates liquidity across 5 blockchain networks (Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Mantle), enabling seamless cross-chain trading with the APEX token at its core.
